Semen Analysis Test in Dwarka
A semen analysis is usually the quickest way to narrow down what's affecting a couple's fertility, and our Dwarka Sector 23 lab processes samples on-site. For what the report actually measures, see our semen analysis guide.
What Gets Measured
- Sperm count (concentration per millilitre)
- Motility — how many sperm are moving, and how well
- Morphology — the shape and structure of sperm
- Volume and liquefaction time of the sample
A single abnormal result doesn't always mean a long-term problem — illness, stress or recent fever can temporarily affect results, which is why we sometimes recommend repeating the test after four to six weeks.
Sample Collection at the Dwarka Clinic
Samples are collected on-site in a private room to keep the time between collection and lab analysis as short as possible, since that affects accuracy. We'll give you collection instructions (including the recommended abstinence period) when you book.
