Ultrasound & Follicular Monitoring in Dwarka
Follicular monitoring means tracking follicle growth through a series of ultrasound scans across your cycle, used both for natural-cycle ovulation timing and during IUI or IVF cycles. Our Dwarka Sector 23 clinic runs this in-house. For more detail, see our follicular monitoring guide.
Why Multiple Scans Are Needed
A single scan only shows a snapshot; the pattern of follicle growth over several days is what tells us when ovulation is likely, or when eggs are ready for retrieval in an IVF cycle. A typical monitoring cycle involves two to four scans, usually starting a few days before the expected fertile window.
Used Across Different Situations
- Timing intercourse or IUI around natural ovulation
- Tracking response to ovulation-induction medication
- Monitoring stimulation during IVF or egg freezing cycles
Because the scan timing is specific to where you are in your cycle, we'll give you an exact schedule rather than a general date range, so you're not making repeat trips unnecessarily.
